Good Memories

We left China eight days ago, and how I miss those kids. Even on the worst of days, they never ceased to make me laugh.

Camera shy

Eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the first time (Chinese style)

Falling into my closet

Hiding under my bed

Snuggle time

Those kids are hilarious.

Xiao Wei

Thanks for signing up for our blog! We will be flying to Thailand on June 1st where we will spend a couple weeks visiting family and friends before we head to China on June 15th. I really want to use this blog to keep you informed on what's happening at The Bright Connection and as a way for you to get to know the little ones. Who knows, maybe you will get to meet them one day!

The picture of above was taken in 2008 when we spent two months working at TBC. The little girl I'm holding is Xiao Wei. She has cerebral palsy, and due to her weak muscles wasn't able to move at all. I hear that she has made a lot of progress since we left. I will send you an update when we see her again!

Also, the center's lease is up at the end of June and they are unable to renew their lease because the landlord wants to remodel the building and sell it. As of now, they don't have another building to move into and they need a new home. The majority of the kids live there full time because they are orphans. Please remember them. I know He will provide!
